PEP
has been representing the interests of businesses
in the Chichester District since it was
formed in 1984. It consults with Government
agencies and those responsible for putting
an appropriate infrastructure in place to
enable businesses to contribute effectively
to the economic prosperity of the region.
PEP pays particular attention
to local planning issues and environmental
concerns. It participates in consultations
affecting business planning, conservation,
tourism, transportation and travel and also
seeks improvements in a whole range of issues
such as technology, recycling & waste
management, vocational training and employment.
PEP members ensure that
the opinion of local business managers,
and other interested parties, is heard by
all those responsible for influencing and
shaping the region's future economic prosperity.
As an independent and authoritative voice
of business, and with so many employees
and residents dependent upon the success
of local business, PEP sees itself as having
a vital role in continuing to safeguard
and protect the local area. |
